Coffee & Card: Playing in the Rain Class

Wednesday, April 9, 2025

Hey there, friends! Thanks for stopping by—I'm so glad you're here! I've got a fun card to share with you today from our Coffee & Card Class on Monday, April 7, 2025. We used the Playing in the Rain stamp set and matching dies, and oh my goodness... they're just the cutest! These sweet products are currently on the Last Chance List, so if you've had your eye on them, now's the time—they're only available while supplies last!

I couldn't resist pulling them out for one more project.  You'll also find the One Sheet Wonder Recipe #1 Template and the replay linked at the bottom of this post, so you can catch all the details and create along with me at your own pace!

For this card, I started with a Pretty Peacock cardstock base and layered on two pieces of the adorable Lily Pond Lane DSP (also on the Last Chance List).I used Thick Basic White cardstock and the Around It All Dies to create the fun, wonky circle shape as a backdrop.

The Gate and grass were die-cut using the Playing in the Rain Dies with Gray Granite and Granny Apple Green cardstock. I colored the stamped images with Stampin' Blends in Boho Blue, Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, and Smoky Slate, then cut them out with the coordinating dies for a perfect fit.
To finish it off, I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray Ink on a strip of Gray Granite cardstock and used the Happy Labels Pick a Punch to add those sweet scalloped edges. I popped up the clouds, bunny, and sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals, then added a bit of Gray Twine and Peach Pie Glimmer Dots for the perfect finishing touch.
