Hello friends! Happy Monday! Today, I've got a super cute project to share with you today using the Charming Duck Pond Bundle—and trust me, it's a fun one. We made this card during this morning's Coffee & Card Class, and I'm loving how it turned out. This bundle has been so much fun to play with, and I'm really excited for you to see the next set of projects we'll be making on Thursday. Be sure to Tune in at 2:00PM CT!
If you've never joined me for Coffee & Card Class, I go live every Monday at 10:00AM CT on both my Facebook and YouTube Channel. It' a great way to kick off the week with a little creativity—I'd love to have you join in.
You’ll find the basic measurements and a link to the video replay at the bottom of this post, so you can recreate this card at your own pace.
Now, let’s talk about today’s card. It’s full of layers and details, and that Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper is just packed with springtime charm. I used one of the circle dies from the bundle to cut a window and framed it right over that adorable DSP.
The cattails were stamped in Granny Apple Green and Early Espresso, then die-cut and layered onto the circle. I also added some die-cut cattails and lily pads from Granny Apple Green cardstock to give it more dimension.
To create those sweet pink lilies, I used a blending brush and Pretty in Pink ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, then die-cut the flowers and scattered them across the scene. The frog and duck were stamped in Memento Black and colored with Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite, and Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blends. They look so cute perched on the lily pads!
And don’t forget the inside! I added a strip of DSP and a panel of Basic White cardstock to give the inside a nice, finished touch.
