Sweet Peas - Hello GrumPea

Hello and welcome! Today, I'm sharing the final project featuring the Sweet Peas Stamp Set. I just adore this little GumPea image—I think it would make anyone laugh.

For this card, I started with a Granny Apple Green card base.  I added a half-sheet of Thick Basic White cardstock (CS) for a soft, textured background, stamped with the larger vine stamp in Granny Apple Green ink. To add more depth, I layered a half-sheet of Brights Designer Series Paper (DSP) in Granny Apple Green onto the lower half of the card base. A coordinating strip of Granny Apple Green CS ties the two layers together seamlessly.

Next, I die-cut a rectangle from the Nested Essentials Dies and stamped the GumPea image three times in the center. I used Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to color the images and then added a touch of Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends under the middle pea to create shading and make him stand out.
Next, I added some embellishments to bring the card to life.  I looped Linen Thread behind the rectangle for a touch of texture, then adhered it to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals for added depth.  To coordinate the color scheme, I colored mirrored dots with Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends and placed them around the design.
To complete the card, I stamped and colored the large vine image in the lower corner of a piece of Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then, I adhered it to the inside of the card base for a polished finishing touch.
